Tian Siang Premium Auto has officially unveiled its newest venture — a dedicated MINI showroom in Ipoh, Perak — marking a significant milestone for the brand’s presence in Malaysia. As only the second standalone MINI dealership in the country, following the flagship in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, this new facility reinforces MINI’s growing influence and rising demand among Malaysian motorists.
Positioned as the largest dealer network in the Northern Region, Tian Siang Premium Auto aims to deliver an elevated ownership journey for MINI customers. The Ipoh showroom goes a step further by introducing new EV charging facilities, supporting the accelerating shift towards electric mobility in Malaysia.
Benjamin Nagel, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia, highlighted the importance of the expansion. “We are thrilled to open the doors to our second standalone MINI showroom in Malaysia. This expansion not only signifies our commitment to delivering the unique MINI experience but also reflects the growing enthusiasm for the brand in Malaysia,” he said. Nagel added that the inclusion of new EV charging stations further strengthens the company’s mission to create a robust ecosystem for electrified mobility and enhance the overall premium ownership experience.

Spanning 6,500 square feet, the new dealership sits strategically at No. 87, Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, Ipoh. Inside, the showroom showcases up to five MINI display vehicles and features a comfortable Customer Lounge and an Entertainment Zone — designed to create a welcoming and premium environment. A team of 12 experienced staff members stands ready to assist customers throughout their buying or ownership journey.
Strengthening its support for electric vehicle owners, Tian Siang Premium Auto (MINI) has partnered with Gentari to equip the premises with comprehensive EV charging facilities. The setup includes two 180 kW DC fast chargers, priced from RM1.70 per kWh, and two complimentary 22 kW AC chargers for customer use. This initiative aligns with BMW Group Malaysia’s broader commitment to expanding EV infrastructure nationwide, with over 2,000 charging points now accessible through collaborations with local partners.
The new MINI showroom operates daily, with business hours running from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM on weekdays, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays, and 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sundays and public holidays.
