Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has expanded its locally assembled luxury SUV lineup with the introduction of two new models—the versatile Mercedes-Benz GLC 200 4MATIC and the electrified, performance-oriented Mercedes-Benz GLE 400 e 4MATIC. Both models, proudly built at the brand’s production facility in Pekan, embody Mercedes-Benz’s commitment to premium craftsmanship, advanced technology, and dynamic driving experiences tailored for Malaysian roads.

The updated GLC 200 4MATIC arrives as a strong contender in the premium SUV segment, now equipped with AMG Line styling for a sharper, more athletic identity. Bold proportions, 20-inch AMG light-alloy wheels, and signature Mercedes-Benz design elements—including LED High Performance headlamps with Adaptive Highbeam Assist—deliver a purposeful and modern look.

Practicality is equally prioritised, with features like polished roof rails, aluminium-look running boards, and ambient surround lighting with a Mercedes-Benz logo projection offering both utility and flair.

Inside, the GLC 200 4MATIC carries a polished AMG Line interior that integrates sporty cues with refined materials. Upholstery in ARTICO man-made leather, a nappa-look dashboard, and Anthracite linestructure lime wood trim form an upscale environment.

A pair of seamlessly integrated displays—a 12.3-inch driver display and an 11.9-inch central touchscreen—tilt toward the driver, underscoring the SUV’s modern cockpit feel. Joining the lineup is the new GLE 400 e 4MATIC, Mercedes-Benz’s first GLE plug-in hybrid introduced to the Malaysian market. Designed for drivers seeking versatility, performance, and sustainable mobility, the GLE 400 e combines the strengths of electric capability with traditional Mercedes-Benz refinement.

Powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine paired with a 100 kW electric motor, the SUV delivers a combined output of up to 381 hp and 650 Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds.

With up to 114 km of pure electric range (WLTP), daily commutes can be comfortably completed without engaging the combustion engine. The hybrid system intelligently selects driving modes based on route conditions, while an Off-Road programme allows all-electric capability even on rough terrain. Charging is supported by an onboard 11 kW AC charger.

The GLE 400 e 4MATIC’s AIRMATIC suspension provides exceptional ride quality by automatically adapting to driving style, speed, and road conditions. This ensures a smooth, confident, and composed drive in all environments.
