Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) has taken a significant step in reinforcing its long-term growth strategy by signing Letters of Intent (LOIs) with four dealer partners, signalling a new phase of expansion for the brand in Malaysia. The agreements were formalised with BHS Auto Hyundai Sdn Bhd, Palm Motor Sdn Bhd, Anggerik Motor (Senai) Sdn Bhd, and Heng Lian Enterprise Bhd.

The new partnerships underscore HMY’s commitment to building a stronger, more sustainable retail network that prioritises accessibility, consistent service standards, and long-term customer confidence. Rather than rapid expansion, HMY is adopting a deliberate, quality-driven approach focused on higher-capacity dealerships and closer collaboration with trusted partners.

Under the LOIs, six new outlets will be established in strategically selected high-potential locations, including Ipoh, Petaling Jaya, Senai, and Kuching. These locations were identified based on market demand, growth potential, and customer reach, allowing Hyundai to strengthen its nationwide presence while maintaining a uniform ownership and service experience.

According to Hyundai Motor Malaysia Managing Director, Ms Jahabarnisa Haja Mohideen, the partnerships form part of a carefully planned strategy aimed at sustainable growth. She noted that by working with the right partners in the right locations, Hyundai is creating a solid foundation to better serve customers across the country with greater reliability and responsiveness.
