As Malaysia prepares to launch the new Electric Train Service 3 (ETS3) route connecting Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru on 12 December 2025, Grab has stepped forward with a timely initiative designed to elevate the travel experience for commuters and tourists alike.

In anticipation of the high-demand rail service, Grab is integrating its GrabShuttle model to ensure smooth and reliable last-mile connectivity to and from JB Sentral station. This effort aims to create a true door-to-door journey—one that is convenient, comfortable, and dependable for passengers transitioning between train and road transport.

The introduction of GrabShuttle as part of the ETS3 ecosystem is set to enhance travel accessibility for a wide segment of users, from daily commuters to out-of-state travellers and international visitors. More importantly, the initiative supports broader national and state tourism objectives for Visit Malaysia 2026 and Visit Johor 2026, helping to encourage mobility, exploration, and economic activity across key destinations.

Grab emphasizes that affordability and accessibility remain central to its vision. By offering an efficient and user-friendly option for the last leg of the journey, the platform aims to complement the country’s expanding transportation network while strengthening community connectivity.
