This bold move replaces the previous five-year warranty, reflecting the company’s unwavering confidence in its engineering, quality control, and long-standing reputation in tyre innovation.
Designed to cover the full operational lifespan of a tyre, the new warranty underscores Continental’s commitment to delivering products that embody durability, reliability, and performance. It ensures protection against manufacturing defects for as long as the tyre remains usable on the road.

While the warranty offers comprehensive manufacturing defect protection, it does not cover damages arising from external factors such as punctures, cuts, or impact-related failures caused by road hazards—events beyond Continental’s manufacturing control.
A standout feature of this initiative is its retrospective application. All eligible tyres purchased prior to this announcement will also be covered under the Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty, ensuring that both existing and new customers benefit equally from Continental’s upgraded protection.
To further enhance customer peace of mind, the brand continues to offer its Total Confidence Plan (TCP) Road Hazard Warranty. This plan provides 12 months of coverage against unexpected road damage when registrations are completed via the Conti TCP app, complementing the new lifetime manufacturing assurance.
Continental also stresses that customers need not worry about tyre manufacturing dates. With the combination of the Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty and the TCP Road Hazard coverage, drivers can trust that their tyres will maintain performance, safety, and reliability throughout their lifespan—provided they are purchased within Malaysia.
Warranty claims will be handled following inspection by an accredited Continental representative or authorised retailer. Any reimbursement will be calculated on a prorated basis, using the remaining tyre tread depth to determine the unused value.
