Proton has officially opened bookings for the All-New Saga, signaling a major milestone in the evolution of Malaysia’s beloved sedan. Since its debut in 1985, the Saga has grown alongside Malaysians, becoming a symbol of national progress. Now, the latest iteration introduces advanced design, refined performance, and smart connectivity — all proudly developed by Malaysian engineers under Proton’s expanding R&D capabilities.
Built on the new Advanced Modular Architecture (AMA) platform, the All-New Saga is the first Proton model to be entirely designed, engineered, and validated in Malaysia. The collaboration with Geely, established in 2018, has provided technical support while underscoring Proton’s growing independence in product development and full ownership of intellectual property. The vehicle also demonstrates the brand’s readiness for future intelligent and autonomous technologies.
Carrying the tagline “Intelligence That Thrills,” the All-New Saga combines style, confidence, and innovation, raising the bar for safety, connectivity, and refinement in Malaysia’s A-segment sedan market.

- I – Impressive Performance: The new i-GT 1.5 engine paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) delivers smooth and efficient performance, with fuel consumption as low as 4.9L/100 km (MDC). Enhanced Electric Power Steering and Proton’s signature ride and handling promise comfort and control.
- C – Comprehensive Safety: Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) featuring nine intelligent safety functions, six airbags, and Proton’s Reinforced Safety Structure (RESS) ensure exceptional protection.
- O – Optimised Intelligence: A new 16-inch Integrated Dual Screen combines digital instrumentation with infotainment, now supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Added conveniences include auto headlamps, Follow-Me-Home lighting, and headlamp levelling.
- N – Next-Gen Style: Full LED projector headlamps, LED rear taillights, and refreshed cabin design highlight the Saga’s modern sophistication. Malaysian identity is celebrated through a front grille adorned with a ‘Sulaman Songket’ motif and stylish two-tone 15-inch alloy wheels.
Positioned as a sedan made for Malaysians yet ready for global markets, the All-New Saga blends intelligent technology, refined engineering, and accessible ownership. Available in Standard, Executive, and Premium variants, it comes in five striking colours: Marine Blue, Space Grey, Ruby Red, Armour Silver, and Snow White. Prices start from RM40,000 to RM50,000.
