PRO-NET is calling on Malaysia’s brightest young minds to showcase their business acumen in the Proton Business Case Challenge 2025. This nationwide competition, part of the Proton Young Talent (PYT) Programme, encourages university students to tackle real-world automotive business scenarios and propose innovative, data-driven solutions that mirror the evolving landscape of mobility.
“The Proton Business Case Challenge is an opportunity to see how young Malaysians think about the future of our industry,” said Mr. Zhang Qiang, CEO of PRO-NET. “With electric vehicles gaining momentum, we aim to inspire the next generation to think boldly and act confidently. PRO-NET is committed to nurturing new talent and providing pathways for growth within the automotive sector.”
The challenge will unfold over six regional rounds, leading up to a Grand Finale on 13 December 2025. Teams of four to five students will face the task of analysing, formulating, and presenting strategic business solutions under strict time constraints—testing their creativity, teamwork, and strategic thinking.
PRO-NET’s regional rounds will take place at the following venues:
| Region | Venue | Date |
| Central | Universiti Malaya | 17 November 2025 |
| Northern | Universiti Utara Malaysia | 19 November 2025 |
| Southern | Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia | 26 November 2025 |
The competition is open to Malaysian citizens aged 26 and below who are in their final year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Winners will walk away with cash prizes of up to RM5,000, with the Top Presenter earning an additional RM1,000. Yet the most valuable reward lies in career opportunities. Top-performing students will receive Conditional Offers to join the Proton Young Talent Programme, granting them mentorship, structured development, and hands-on experience within Malaysia’s leading automotive company.
