Volvo Car Malaysia has officially completed its full model-year 2026 refresh, bringing new updates and variants across its entire range. Following the recent introductions of the refreshed XC60 and the new single-motor EC40, the brand is entering 2026 with a lineup that embodies performance, safety, and sustainability—hallmarks of the Volvo name.

The refreshed Volvo XC60 brings a blend of elegance and dynamism to the brand’s popular mid-size SUV. It now features a sportier front grille, updated air suspension, and Volvo’s latest in-car technology.

Two variants are available for Malaysia:

  • XC60 T8 AWD Plug-in Hybridfrom RM362,888
  • XC60 B5 AWD Mild Hybridfrom RM328,888

The XC60 T8 offers up to 89 km of pure electric driving (WLTP), ideal for daily urban commutes with zero emissions, while still delivering over 450 Nm of torque for spirited performance. The XC60 B5, on the other hand, offers the convenience of a mild-hybrid setup—combining efficiency with smooth power delivery without the need for external charging.

Expanding its all-electric lineup, Volvo introduces the EC40 Single Motor Ultra, priced at RM248,888. Powered by Volvo’s own rear-mounted 175 kW (238 hp) motor, the EC40 sprints from 0–100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds.

Its 70 kWh battery delivers up to 488 km (WLTP) of range and supports DC fast charging from 10–80% in just 26 minutes—making it a practical and efficient choice for Malaysian EV owners.

Adding a touch of Scandinavian charm, the EC40 debuts a new Sand Dune exterior finish inspired by Sweden’s west coast, joining the existing Aurora Silver, Onyx Black, and Crystal White colour options.

Volvo’s flagship SUV, the XC90, also receives a refresh for 2026. It now comes in a new Aurora Silver paint option and continues to embody premium family comfort with two powertrain choices:

  • XC90 Ultra T8 Plug-in HybridRM434,888 (462 hp / 709 Nm)
  • XC90 Ultra B5 Mild HybridRM418,888 (249 hp / 350 Nm)

Both variants feature the Ultra trim, including an 11.2-inch centre display with Volvo’s new UX interface, 12.3-inch driver display, head-up display, Pilot Assist with adaptive cruise, Bowers & Wilkins premium audio, ventilated memory seats, panoramic sunroof, and four-zone climate control—delivering a first-class experience for both driver and passengers.

All 2026 Volvo models now come standard with Volvo Car UX, the brand’s next-generation user interface. The redesigned system adopts a refined vertical layout with larger, more accessible buttons and contextual shortcuts—allowing intuitive access to key functions like drive modes and the 360-degree camera during low-speed maneuvers.

Volvo Car Malaysia’s 2026 range now includes:

  • EX30 – the compact electric SUV
  • XC40 B5 and EC40 – versatile electrified crossovers
