Proton New Energy Technology Sdn Bhd (PRO-NET) has announced a major milestone in Malaysia’s electric vehicle (EV) industry: its nationwide dealership network now exceeds 50 outlets, making it the largest EV network in the country.

By the end of October 2025, 45 dealerships will be fully operational, providing Malaysians with a seamless EV experience that includes vehicle sales, test drives, charging infrastructure, and comprehensive aftersales support. This rapid expansion underscores Proton e.MAS’s commitment to creating an inclusive and accessible EV ecosystem across the nation.

“The response to Proton e.MAS has been truly encouraging. We have grown from zero to the largest EV dealership network in Malaysia within a year, and this is just the beginning,” said Zhang Qiang, Chief Executive Officer of PRO-NET. “Our goal is simple: to make electric mobility accessible to everyone. The support we’ve received from our partners, dealers, and customers proves that Malaysians are ready for this change.”

The dealership expansion continues to focus on enhancing customer accessibility and meeting the rising demand for EVs. By December 2025, the network is expected to reach 50 outlets, covering key locations including:

  • Klang Valley: Bangsar, Pandan Indah, Bukit Jalil, Batu Caves, Kota Damansara, Cyberjaya, Kajang
  • Johor: Skudai, Kluang, Johor Bahru
  • Penang: Nibong Tebal, Batu Kawan

Since bookings opened, the Proton e.MAS 5 has surpassed 4,000 reservations, reflecting strong consumer confidence in Malaysia’s first affordable EV. With bookings continuing to rise, PRO-NET is making a final call for customers to secure the exclusive Early Bird Package before it closes at 5,000 bookings.

For just RM99, interested Malaysians can register their Proton e.MAS 5 online or at any dealership nationwide. Early Bird perks include:
