Perodua is positioning itself beyond carmaking and into an integrated mobility ecosystem with plans to roll Mobility as a Service (MaaS) features into its P-Circle super app. The move reflects the company’s push to combine vehicle ownership, digital payments and connected-home features under a single platform.

“The P-Circle offers mobility as a lifestyle — these offerings cover a significant portion of our online services engagement under one super app,” said Perodua President and CEO Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad. He described the expansion as a natural step in Perodua’s strategy to diversify into tech-based services that mirror how consumers want to connect vehicles, homes and everyday life to the internet.

A central pillar of the P-Circle is P Duit, Perodua’s built-in e-wallet intended to simplify payments across the Malaysian digital economy. Dato’ Sri Zainal noted that P Duit will be especially useful for prospective first-time electric vehicle (EV) buyers: Perodua has secured agreements with charging-point operators so the e-wallet will be accepted at public EV chargers. The company also confirmed that a “P Vehicle” module — which will extend vehicle-specific services within the app — will be launched after Perodua introduces its EV model.

Perodua is also bundling connected home and security features with its mobility offerings. The P Guardian surveillance app, offered alongside P Charge, allows users to monitor home camera feeds linked to P Charge hardware — a step that blurs the boundary between car infrastructure and household IoT.

The plan aligns with Perodua’s “We Go Beyond” philosophy, Dato’ Sri Zainal added, stressing that the company wants to anticipate customer needs and deliver services before they are requested. “We foresee that this convergence will only grow stronger in the years to come, and we want to prove that we can innovate by providing all the services our customers need,” he said.

P-Circle is available to download on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Perodua’s mobile charger and companion smartwatch are being offered at Perodua Sales & Service outlets nationwide, providing customers with hardware and software options as the brand expands into mobility-centric services.
