GWM Malaysia has officially opened bookings for the refreshed Ora Good Cat and the sportier Ora Good Cat GT, with prices starting from RM115,000. Marking the next evolution of GWM’s electric mobility story, these two models bring enhanced design, performance, and technology under the brand’s bold promise — “The Extra Good EV.”
First launched in Malaysia in 2023, the Ora Good Cat made waves as one of the earliest fully electric hatchbacks from China to enter the local market. Its combination of retro-modern styling, premium comfort, and practical range quickly captured the attention of urban EV enthusiasts. Now, GWM is taking the experience even further with two upgraded variants designed to meet diverse driving personalities.
The new Ora Good Cat blends style and substance with refined looks, upgraded comfort, and cutting-edge safety. Powered by a 57.7 kWh SVOLT LFP battery, it delivers up to 480 km of range (NEDC) and produces 143 PS and 210 Nm of torque for smooth, responsive driving. It supports 60kW DC fast charging, achieving 30%–80% charge in about 38 minutes, and 6.6kW AC charging for home convenience.
Inside, drivers are greeted by a 10.25-inch infotainment display, leatherette upholstery, and full smartphone connectivity via Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and My GWM app integration. Safety remains a top priority, with Level 2 ADAS and a 360° camera providing confidence on every journey.
Meanwhile, the Ora Good Cat GT caters to drivers seeking an edgier, more dynamic character. Retaining the same 57.7 kWh battery but tuned for greater performance, the GT version outputs 171 PS and 250 Nm of torque — complemented by Launch Control for an engaging drive. Its sport-inspired design cues include a GT front bumper, yellow brake calipers, rear spoiler, and GT-exclusive alloy wheels, while the cabin boasts GT sport seats with yellow stitching and suede leather trim.
