BMW Group Malaysia has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing Malaysia’s sustainability agenda, pledging strong support for the nation’s leadership role as Chair of ASEAN 2025. In line with the government’s drive toward greener mobility, the national fleet for the ASEAN 2025 term will feature premium electric vehicles (EVs) from BMW Group Malaysia.
Among the key additions to the fleet are the BMW i7 xDrive60 M Sport and BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport, two of the marque’s most advanced all-electric sedans. Their inclusion underscores Malaysia’s dedication to the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR) and sets a high benchmark for ASEAN Member States to follow in adopting sustainable mobility solutions.
This collaboration not only reflects Malaysia’s commitment to the ASEAN 2025 theme of “Inclusivity and Sustainability” but also highlights how public-private partnerships can accelerate the region’s transition towards a low-carbon future.
As the leading provider of premium electric vehicles in Malaysia, BMW Group Malaysia continues to champion sustainability through its comprehensive EV portfolio, innovative technologies, and strategic partnerships. Guided by its principle of Technology Openness, the company remains dedicated to supporting Malaysia’s journey toward cleaner mobility and regional leadership in sustainable innovation.
