Setel Ventures Sdn Bhd (Setel) is set to make life easier for drivers nationwide by integrating the BUDI MADANI RON95 (BUDI95) programme directly into its platform starting 30 September 2025.
With a simple one-time verification on the Setel app, eligible Malaysians will no longer need to undergo manual MyKad checks at every fuelling session. Once verified, users can enjoy subsidised RON95 fuel at over 1,000 PETRONAS stations nationwide while tapping into the app’s wide range of digital conveniences.
Setel offers features designed to simplify the fuelling experience. With One-tap Fuelling, users can activate the pump directly from their vehicle, while Setel Lite ensures smooth app performance even on older smartphones. Each transaction also earns up to three times Mesra Rewards points, giving drivers more value with every litre.

Under the Government’s BUDI95 programme, Malaysians aged 16 and above with a MyKad and valid driving licence can purchase RON95 petrol at RM1.99 per litre, capped at 300 litres per month. E-hailing drivers will enjoy additional allocations beyond the monthly cap to support their income.
Starting 25 September 2025, users will be able to check their eligibility and monitor their BUDI95 balance directly within the Setel app. New users who register and verify their accounts will also be eligible for exclusive rewards, available through the app, PETRONAS station dealers, roadshows, and participating partners.
