Malaysian motorists will soon enjoy a smoother way to redeem their fuel subsidies, as Caltex Malaysia introduces digital access to the BUDI MADANI RON95 (BUDI95) targeted subsidy beginning 30 September 2025.
Through the CaltexGO mobile app, eligible drivers can now enjoy instant savings on RON95 fuel—without the need to use a physical MyKad terminal at the pump.
The BUDI95 program, introduced by the Malaysian Government, ensures that fuel subsidies are directed more effectively to those who qualify. With this scheme, eligible motorists can purchase RON95 at a subsidised rate of RM1.99 per litre, capped at 300 litres per month. Beyond that quota, or for those not eligible, RON95 is available at the regulated retail price of RM2.60 per litre.
Eligibility is automatically extended to all Malaysians aged 16 and above with a valid driving licence. Traditionally, verification required swiping a MyKad at petrol station terminals—but now, Caltex has simplified the process with its fully digital app integration.
By linking the BUDI95 quota to a Touch ’n Go eWallet account through the CaltexGO app, customers can instantly view and redeem their subsidy while paying digitally. This innovation eliminates extra steps and makes every refuelling experience faster, easier, and more rewarding.

Click the RON95 Subsidy Program banner in CaltexGO, link your eWallet account, and verify your identity via the Touch ’n Go eWallet app’s eKYC process. - GO fuel up at Caltex
Pump RON95 at participating Caltex stations and pay through CaltexGO to enjoy your instant subsidy savings. New users who register will also receive a RM5 fuel reward.
