Sunway City Kuala Lumpur has welcomed a new landmark in electric mobility with the official launch of Zeekr Sunway—a premium retail and service destination for the Zeekr brand in Malaysia. Spearheaded by Sunway Marketing, Zeekr’s pioneering dealer partner, the launch signifies a bold new chapter for the fast-growing EV marque.
Housed on the iconic former helipad of Sunway City, Zeekr Space Sunway City is the first full-scale Zeekr retail concept in Malaysia. Initially previewed in October 2024, this 11,100-square-foot facility offers a comprehensive customer experience, from vehicle exploration to new car delivery. It showcases six display bays featuring models like the Zeekr X and Zeekr 009, alongside two dedicated delivery bays to let customers commemorate their first day with their new EV in style.
Inside, the showroom boasts premium amenities including a spacious lounge, customer discussion stations, and four AC charging points, with DC charging facilities slated for future installation. These customer-centric elements embody Zeekr’s vision of a seamless, enjoyable ownership journey.
Complementing the retail experience is the nearby Zeekr Sunway Service Centre on Jalan Lagoon Selatan. Spanning 10,000 square feet—with the capability to expand to 20,000—the centre is fitted with cutting-edge diagnostic tools and staffed by trained technicians. It also features ample customer waiting areas and parts storage to support growing aftersales demand.
With an investment of over RM10 million, the dual launch of Zeekr Space and the service centre represents a significant commitment by Sunway Marketing to elevate the Zeekr ownership experience. Since delivering its first vehicle in December 2024, the company has already surpassed 600 units sold—highlighting strong local momentum.
At the launch ceremony, Mr. Yeoh Yuen Chee, CEO of Sunway Trading & Manufacturing, emphasized the importance of the milestone: “The introduction of Zeekr Sunway is highly meaningful in more ways than one as it represents a progressive milestone for the Zeekr brand in Malaysia and Sunway City Kuala Lumpur as a whole… It echoes our commitment to making the ownership journey of Zeekr’s latest Premium New Energy Vehicles an enjoyable, sustainable and convenient experience.”
To celebrate, Sunway Marketing is hosting the “Win-a-Zeekr” Customer Appreciation Contest 2025, where customers purchasing from Zeekr Space Sunway City or Petaling Jaya by 30 September 2025 stand a chance to win a Zeekr X Premium. Entries increase with model tiers: one entry for Zeekr X, two for Zeekr 7X, and three for the flagship Zeekr 009.
Zeekr Space Sunway City is open Monday to Saturday from 9AM to 7PM, and Sundays from 10AM to 5PM. The Zeekr Sunway Service Centre operates weekdays from 9AM to 6PM, and Saturdays from 9AM to 1PM—ready to serve the growing Zeekr community in Malaysia with top-tier care and convenience.
