UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has closed the first half of 2025 on a high note, recording an impressive 7,773 units sold in June alone, contributing to a cumulative total of 44,286 units year-to-date. This steady performance underscores UMWT’s unwavering focus on delivering dependable, high-quality mobility solutions that align with the diverse lifestyles and needs of Malaysian consumers.

From first-time car owners to fleet users and lifelong Toyota loyalists, the brand’s appeal remains broad and strong. Toyota’s commitment to its global “Mobility for All” vision is evident in its wide-ranging lineup, which balances everyday practicality with reliable performance and long-term value. Each model embodies Toyota’s promise to serve real-world needs—through intuitive design, innovative technology, and customer-centric services.

“At UMW Toyota Motor, our focus has always been on building lasting relationships with our customers and the communities we serve,” said Datuk Ravindran K., President of UMW Toyota Motor. “Whether through the cars we offer or the experiences we create, our aim is to stay connected to the everyday journeys of our customers. That is how we continue to Move Your World.”

Beyond the showroom, UMWT brought excitement to the track as the Title Sponsor of the Super GT Malaysia Festival—marking the return of the renowned motorsport event after a 12-year hiatus. Held at the Sepang International Circuit, the festival attracted over 75,000 motorsports fans and spotlighted Toyota’s performance-driven DNA.

A dedicated GAZOO Racing zone allowed visitors to immerse themselves in Toyota’s racing heritage with displays of GR models, interactive simulators, family-friendly activities, and more. The event also featured the international debut of the one-hour TGR Vios Challenge endurance race, a landmark addition to the Super GT weekend. Now in its eighth season, the race featured 36 drivers, including five young talents from Toyota’s GAZOO Racing Young Talent Development Programme—highlighting UMWT’s commitment to nurturing local motorsports talent.

In another major highlight of the month, UMWT showcased Toyota’s vision for a cleaner, more sustainable future at Energy Asia 2025, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Central to the exhibit was Toyota’s Multipathway Approach to carbon reduction, which promotes a spectrum of technologies including efficient Internal Combustion Engine Vehicles (ICEs), Hybrids (HEVs), Plug-in Hybrids (PHEVs), Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), and even hydrogen-powered Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs).

A key attraction was the Toyota Mirai, a hydrogen vehicle that emits only water vapour, reinforcing Toyota’s practical and inclusive take on environmental sustainability. Visitors also got a closer look at Toyota’s Eco-Vehicle Assessment System, which evaluates and minimises environmental impact throughout a vehicle’s entire lifecycle using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) principles.

To complement its strong sales and innovation milestones, UMWT rolled out attractive ownership campaigns for the month of June:
