Legendary Japanese tuner TOP SECRET is once again set to steal the spotlight at Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur 2025, returning with what might be its most jaw-dropping creation yet—the one-of-a-kind VR32 Stealth Nissan GT-R. This engineering marvel, personally built by none other than tuning icon Smokey Nagata, will be on display from 8–10 August 2025 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC).
Blurring the lines between Nissan GT-R generations, the VR32 Stealth merges the timeless shell of the BNR32 with the raw power and modern tech of the R35. At the heart of this unique beast is the R35’s 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine, tuned to unleash a staggering 1072 horsepower. Built from the ground up, the project required extreme fabrication—most notably, a fully stitch-welded chassis to accommodate the R35’s drivetrain, along with a custom roll cage and reinforced tube bracing beneath the front fenders.
Under the hood, the engine is enhanced with a TOP SECRET BB800 Turbine, JUN H section connecting rods, and other high-performance internals. Complementing its sheer power, the car is finished in Stealth Gray and outfitted with a full TOP SECRET aero kit, NEKO TOP SECRET Ver.SPL Ride Pitch Adjustment suspension, SWIFT springs, and a brake system borrowed from the R35 GT-R.
Grip and stance are delivered by 18-inch OZ Racing Challenge HLT wheels—10J in the front and 11J at the rear—wrapped in 275/35-18 Bridgestone POTENZA RE71-RS tyres. Braking comes courtesy of Brembo six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers, clamping down on massive 380mm discs.
TOP SECRET didn’t stop at mechanical performance. The interior has also undergone a complete transformation, featuring the dashboard, instrument cluster, center console, and door panels from the R35 GT-R, all signed off with the TOP SECRET R35 GT-R steering wheel and TRUST Sirius Boost Meter, combining cutting-edge function with trademark flair.
As if the car wasn’t enough of a highlight, fans will also have the rare opportunity to meet Smokey Nagata himself, who is making his third straight appearance at the show. A TOP SECRET merchandise booth will also be on-site, offering exclusive collectibles for diehard enthusiasts.
