Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur has officially introduced the Temerario, the latest jewel in the crown of the brand’s High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) range. Unveiled in stunning Blu Marinus during an exclusive event in Kuala Lumpur, the Temerario marks a pivotal moment in Lamborghini’s evolution—completing the brand’s transition to a fully hybridized lineup.
As the second super sports car under the HPEV banner, following the V12-powered Revuelto and the Urus SE Super SUV, the Temerario is a bold testament to Lamborghini’s unwavering commitment to performance, innovation, and design.
At its heart lies a groundbreaking new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, paired with three electric motors, resulting in a staggering combined output of 920 CV. The hybrid system enables blistering acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, and a top speed of 343 km/h—figures that cement its status at the pinnacle of hybrid supercar performance.
This advanced powertrain, developed entirely in Sant’Agata Bolognese, is designed not only for power but also responsiveness. Thanks to an axial electric motor placed between the engine and gearbox, it fills torque gaps and delivers seamless power delivery all the way to 10,000 rpm. The front axle is powered by dual electric motors, offering sharp handling and all-wheel-drive capability.
Designed from a clean slate by Lamborghini Centro Stile, the Temerario’s silhouette retains Lamborghini’s sharp, low-slung DNA while introducing an evolved design language. Hexagonal motifs dominate the exterior—from the distinctive Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) to the taillights and exhaust tips, reinforcing its identity.
Its chassis is made of lightweight aluminum, increasing torsional rigidity for better performance and comfort. A completely new spaceframe architecture allows for improved cabin space—34 mm more headroom and 46 mm more legroom than the Huracán, with ample space for track helmets and daily essentials alike.
Inside, the cockpit embraces the brand’s aviation-inspired design philosophy. Hexagonal air vents, carbon fiber finishes, a start/stop button modeled after a jet engine switch, and a central touchscreen create an immersive, pilot-like experience.
Every surface of the Temerario serves a purpose. Lamborghini’s engineers have maximized aerodynamic efficiency—rear downforce is up by 103% over the Huracán EVO, and up to 158% with the available Alleggerita Package. Brake cooling is vastly improved too, with 50% better caliper cooling and 20% better disc cooling.
Temerario features an unprecedented 13 drive modes, combining traditional modes like Strada and Corsa with hybrid-specific options like Recharge, Hybrid, and Performance. Via intuitive selectors on the steering wheel, drivers can tailor the car’s behavior for city streets or full-attack track driving. An engaging Launch Control mode is also available for maximum off-the-line performance.
Through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program, owners can select from over 400 exterior colors, countless interior combinations, and unique trim materials. A wide range of carbon fiber components and three types of wheels—including forged and lightweight carbon rims—further allow customers to personalize their Temerario.
For purists and track enthusiasts, the Alleggerita Pack offers up to 25 kg of weight savings and further aerodynamic improvements, enhancing both agility and performance.
Lamborghini has once again partnered with Bridgestone for the Temerario’s tires, offering specially developed Potenza Sport and Potenza Race models. These tires are engineered to handle the car’s extreme power and cornering loads, offering optimal grip on both dry and wet surfaces.
Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur is now accepting orders for the Temerario, with a starting price of RM 1,350,000, excluding duties, taxes, and customization options. This marks an exciting milestone for Malaysian supercar enthusiasts, who now have the opportunity to own the latest hybrid marvel from Sant’Agata.
