Caltex Malaysia has unveiled its latest innovation in engine lubrication—the Caltex Havoline Fully Synthetic Hybrid SAE 0W-20, a specially formulated engine oil tailored for hybrid vehicles. This new-generation lubricant is designed to enhance engine performance, extend longevity, and provide smooth, reliable operation in the unique operating conditions of hybrid powertrains.
As hybrid vehicles grow in popularity among Malaysian motorists, the need for purpose-built engine oils has never been greater. Hybrid engines, due to their frequent start-stop cycles and cooler operating temperatures, are more susceptible to challenges such as low-temperature sludge buildup, fuel and water contamination, and internal corrosion.
