Tesla has officially launched its latest V4 Supercharging Station at i-City Finance Avenue in Shah Alam, equipped with four cutting-edge V4 Superchargers. This strategic addition aims to support local communities by offering ultra-fast charging solutions for Tesla owners who need quick top-ups during errands or brief stops.
The new V4 Superchargers deliver impressive charging power of up to 250kW, enabling Model 3 and Model Y drivers to add up to 282 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes. Designed with future upgrades in mind, these chargers provide a seamless “plug and charge” experience through the Tesla App. The app not only shows charger availability but also navigates users to stations, monitors charging progress, and handles payment automatically, ensuring a hassle-free journey for EV drivers.
Tesla’s pay-per-use Supercharging fees remain among the most affordable in the market, starting at RM1.19 per kWh. Meanwhile, Tesla’s Destination Chargers—available at popular locations—are free for Tesla owners until further notice, enhancing convenience for everyday charging needs. An idle fee of up to RM4.00 per minute is charged when Supercharging stations are fully occupied, encouraging efficient use.
Currently, Tesla operates 15 Supercharging stations with 68 Superchargers and 15 Destination Charging stations totaling 70 chargers across Malaysia. Since the introduction of the new Model Y in May 2025, Tesla Malaysia has seen an extraordinary 403% increase in vehicle registrations compared to last year.
To celebrate its growing presence, Tesla Malaysia offers a Refer & Earn program, allowing both new and existing owners to earn rewards of up to RM15,000 annually by introducing friends to the Tesla experience. Owners also benefit from complimentary home charging support, making EV ownership even more accessible and cost-effective.
In addition, Tesla’s EV Switcher Program encourages drivers to transition from internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles to electric models with an attractive RM15,000 trade-in uplift. This offer is complemented by low-interest financing and incentives up to RM43,000. Tesla’s Green Mobility Incentives Program further empowers businesses and employees to adopt electric vehicles, supporting Malaysia’s ambition for a greener and more sustainable future.
