This June, the wholly owned subsidiary of PROTON achieved another significant milestone by expanding its dealership network under the Proton e.MAS and smart brands, reinforcing its presence across both East and West Malaysia.

Three new dealerships—located in Kota Kinabalu (Sabah), IOI City Mall Putrajaya, and Old Klang Road, Kuala Lumpur—are now operational, providing comprehensive EV sales, service, and support. This expansion strengthens PRO-NET’s nationwide infrastructure and brings EV ownership within closer reach for more Malaysians.

Marking its first anniversary, the Proton e.MAS brand is celebrating a remarkable year of progress. The e.MAS 7 has become Malaysia’s fastest-selling EV model to surpass 3,000 units sold—a testament to growing consumer confidence in its quality, innovation, and ownership experience.

As of June 2025, 35 Proton e.MAS dealerships are fully operational nationwide, with a total of 47 appointed. Recent additions include:

  • Fook Loi Eurocar in Kota Kinabalu
  • Jewel Sonic at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya
  • Peringgit Auto Max on Old Klang Road, Kuala Lumpur

Beyond sales, the e.MAS network includes 25 3S centres, 31 DC fast-charging stations, and 10 Body and Paint centres, forming a robust ecosystem designed for a seamless EV ownership journey.

PRO-NET’s premium EV partner, smart, has officially entered East Malaysia with the launch of its first dealership in Sabah, located within the new Fook Loi Corporation showroom in Kota Kinabalu. The outlet features EV-ready infrastructure and trained specialists, offering both the smart #1 and smart #3 models.

This move marks smart Malaysia’s first expansion beyond Peninsular Malaysia, opening the door for East Malaysians to experience its cutting-edge EV technology and customer service.
