This round marked the return to the full track layout, and with it came the season’s highest number of competitors—13 determined drivers, including special guest Harvinder Singh (#624) and newcomer Imran Iskandar (#512), both making their debut on this highly competitive stage.

Qualifying was nothing short of electric. With championship hopes on the line, drivers pushed their machines to the limit in an ultra-competitive session. Loke Yin Yi (#331) rose to the occasion with a blistering lap time of 2:52.414 to secure pole position. Hot on her heels were Lim Keng June (#390) and Kyrill Syrapushchynski (#492), who ensured that the front row would be a battleground. The session highlighted the razor-thin margins between the top contenders—just 2.658 seconds separated the top five.

When the lights went out, the drama began. Loke faced an immediate challenge from Lim Keng June at Turn 1, briefly losing the lead before snatching it back with a bold move into Turn 4. The race continued at a blistering pace until a safety car deployment on Lap 5 momentarily neutralised the field.

The midfield turned into a hotbed of action, with Boey Kai Jin (#328), Eric Yong (#135), and Kyrill Syrapushchynski (#492) trading positions corner after corner. Unfortunately, Kyrill’s race came to an early end due to technical issues, ending what could have been a top-tier finish.

As the final laps approached, the battle at the front intensified. Loke Yin Yi and Lim Keng June reignited their duel, going wheel-to-wheel in a nail-biting finish. In the end, Loke held her nerve to cross the line just 2.322 seconds ahead, securing a vital victory and reinforcing her bid for the championship.
