Audi has officially raised the bar in Southeast Asia’s premium SUV segment with the launch of its first-ever Completely Knocked Down (CKD) model in the region — the Audi Q7 S line. Unveiled at the Malaysia AutoShow 2025 in MAEPS Serdang, the seven-seater luxury SUV, priced from RM459,990, marks a significant milestone for the German marque’s local assembly strategy and its growing presence in Malaysia.
Described as the start of a bold new chapter, the Audi Q7 S line embodies a fusion of German precision and Malaysian dedication. “This is luxury and performance, packaged in a very sophisticated SUV,” said Denyu Bostandzhiev, Managing Director of PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM). He further highlighted that the local assembly, achieved through close collaboration with Volkswagen Group Malaysia and support from Audi AG, brings unmatched value and quality to local buyers. 
Visually arresting, the Q7 S line showcases a commanding road presence. Key exterior features include the Black Styling Package Plus, which enhances the SUV’s sporty attitude with elements such as the blacked-out Singleframe grille and anthracite grey Audi rings. S line bumpers, side skirts, a roof edge spoiler, and large 22-inch Audi Sport wheels complete the athletic profile. Customers can choose from four distinctive paint options: Glacier White, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black (all metallic), and Daytona Grey with a pearl effect.
Under the hood, the Q7 houses a powerful 3.0-litre TFSI V6 petrol engine producing 340PS and 500Nm of torque. Paired with a mild-hybrid system, the SUV offers not only spirited performance — accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds — but also enhanced fuel efficiency and reduced emissions.
Power is transferred via an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission and distributed by Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive, ensuring traction and confidence on any terrain. Complemented by Audi Drive Select with seven driving modes and Audi Adaptive Air Suspension Sport, the Q7 delivers an agile yet cushioned ride, with height adjustability up to 60 mm for off-road scenarios and down 30 mm for high-speed cruising.
The Q7 S line features all-wheel steering, improving agility in tight spaces and boosting stability at higher speeds. This cutting-edge system ensures every maneuver — from navigating city streets to cornering on winding roads — is smooth, precise, and confidence-inspiring.
Lighting takes a futuristic turn with HD Matrix LED headlights combined with Audi Laser Light. The latter nearly doubles the illumination range of standard beams, while the digital daytime running lights offer selectable light signatures — adding both safety and style.
Inside, the Q7 is all about sophistication and connectivity. The Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus presents vital driving data in customizable formats, while the head-up display projects key information directly into the driver’s line of sight.
Entertainment is equally premium, courtesy of a Bang & Olufsen 3D Premium Sound System with 19 strategically placed speakers and a 730-watt amplifier. Audi Connect enhances every journey with real-time traffic updates, Google satellite maps, and smartphone integration — including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Designed for both utility and elegance, the Q7 offers generous space across three rows. The S line interior includes Valcona leather Sports Seats Plus, a flat-bottomed steering wheel with paddle shifters, and flexible cargo options. With all rear seats folded, the vehicle’s storage expands to an impressive 1,908 litres.
Access to the third row is electronically adjustable, and the hands-free powered tailgate simplifies loading, with an option to lower the vehicle height by 40 mm for easier access.
The Q7 is packed with advanced safety features, including Audi Pre Sense Front and Rear, Side Assist, Exit Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Assist, a 360-degree camera, and Adaptive Cruise Control. Families will also appreciate the six ISOFIX mounting points for child seats, offering both flexibility and peace of mind.
Each Audi Q7 comes with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty. Buyers seeking extended peace of mind can opt for the Audi Assurance Package (AAP) at RM20,000, which adds three more years of warranty (up to 150,000 km), scheduled maintenance for five years or 75,000 km, and complimentary roadside assistance for five years.
