This strategic collaboration is aimed at enhancing customer convenience and transforming Proton’s 3S/4S service centres into comprehensive one-stop hubs for automotive care.
The partnership enables Proton service centres to offer tyre sales, expert installation, and after-sales support, all backed by Continental Malaysia’s renowned expertise. The rollout is set to expand rapidly, with 60 centres expected to offer the full tyre service package by December. This expansion will be available to owners of all Proton models, offering broad access across the country.
Customers can now purchase tyres at competitive rates—starting from RM211 per unit for the Proton Saga—during their regular service appointments. All tyres provided are newly manufactured to ensure maximum safety and performance. Installations are carried out by certified Proton technicians, ensuring a consistent standard of service and reliability.
An added benefit is Continental Malaysia’s Total Confidence Plan (TCP), which includes a one-year road hazard warranty. This plan provides customers with peace of mind through one-to-one tyre replacements in case of unexpected damage. To further ease the financial burden, Direct Lending financing is available, allowing customers to pay in affordable monthly instalments.
This initiative is part of Proton’s broader strategy to elevate its after-sales service. With Malaysia’s leading network of 3S and 4S outlets, Proton continues to invest in top-tier customer support. The company’s after-sales ecosystem includes the FS90 Fast Service promise—ensuring basic servicing within 90 minutes—the ProCare Smart Plan for cost-effective maintenance, and the MyProton app for seamless service scheduling and updates.
