In a powerful testament to Malaysia’s accelerating shift toward electric mobility, PRO-NET has delivered 2,716 units of the Proton e.MAS 7 within just four months since its January 2025 launch. Averaging one unit sold every hour, the fully electric SUV has rapidly gained traction among local drivers and international buyers alike.
April 2025 alone saw 863 units delivered, cementing the e.MAS 7’s status as the market leader with a 26% share in Malaysia’s EV segment — a position it has held for the fourth month running.
“We are incredibly grateful to all of our customers for their continued confidence in us,” said Zhang Qiang, CEO of PRO-NET. “To have one unit sold every hour shows how ready Malaysians are to embrace the EV future with the Proton e.MAS 7. Their trust and strong support have driven this success.”
The e.MAS 7’s popularity reflects the nation’s growing appetite for sustainable, high-tech transportation. Designed with families, professionals, and those upgrading from internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles in mind, the SUV delivers a balanced blend of innovation, practicality, and affordability.
To support this surge in demand, PRO-NET is rapidly expanding its EV infrastructure. The Proton e.MAS app now connects drivers to over 2,500 charging points, offering more than 90% nationwide coverage. This network is seamlessly integrated with the vehicle’s navigation system, making recharging convenient and accessible.
Urban dwellers in high-rise buildings have also been considered: 1,000+ charging points have already been installed across 397 residential towers, with more on the way. PRO-NET is actively onboarding new Charge Point Operator (CPO) partners to expand coverage even further, ensuring e.MAS 7 owners are never far from a charging solution.
Maintenance has also been made effortless with 24 3S centres and 10 Body and Paint centres already operational nationwide — and more to come. “This is just the beginning,” Zhang added. “As we grow, we’re also actively improving our services to ensure that every current and future e.MAS 7 owner enjoys a seamless, enjoyable, and sustainable ownership experience.”
With prices starting at RM105,800 for the Prime variant and RM119,800 for the Premium, the e.MAS 7 offers exceptional value for an EV in its class. This pricing strategy reinforces Proton’s commitment to making electric mobility accessible to all Malaysians.
Every e.MAS 7 on the road represents a customer who has joined Proton’s mission for a cleaner, more sustainable future — and that momentum shows no signs of slowing.
