In the wake of the recent gas pipeline leak fire that struck Putra Heights on 1 April 2025, Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad (TCMH) and Warisan TC Holdings Berhad (WTCH) have stepped up with swift and compassionate assistance for affected residents.
In a show of solidarity and community support, the two companies have launched a special vehicle loan programme, deploying over 30 units of Nissan, GAC Motor, and Renault vehicles. These vehicles are being provided at no cost for a full month to families impacted by the incident, ensuring they can maintain essential mobility during this difficult period.
This initiative is being carried out in close collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, the Selangor State Government, and local authorities. The united effort aims to ensure that help reaches those in need as quickly and efficiently as possible.
“It is disheartening to witness the extent of impact and damage to the residents, especially during this festive period. Our hearts go out to them and we wish for quick recovery to those who were injured,” said Daniel Ho Wai Ming, Group Chief Executive Officer of TCMH. “We hope that our support can help affected residents to get back to their daily lives and ease any mobility disruptions.”
TCMH and WTCH have reiterated their long-standing commitment to the communities they serve and affirmed that they will continue working alongside government bodies to deliver meaningful aid and support in the days ahead.
Residents in need of assistance are encouraged to contact the Selangor State Executive Council’s office for immediate registration at +60 16-412 2721 (Jen).
