PRO-NET has proudly announced a remarkable milestone for its flagship electric SUV, the Proton e.MAS 7, which has surged ahead in the Malaysian EV market with 1,853 units delivered in the first quarter of 2025. With 797 units sold in March alone, the model now commands a forecasted 30% market share, securing its position as Malaysia’s best-selling EV.

Zhang Qiang, CEO of PRO-NET, expressed his gratitude toward the growing community of e.MAS 7 owners. “We want to thank our customers for their unwavering support and confidence in our Proton e.MAS 7. This achievement motivates us to continue improving the quality of our products and enhance the ownership experience,” he said, also crediting the brand’s dealers and partners for their crucial role in building a robust EV ecosystem.

Designed to be both accessible and innovative, the Proton e.MAS 7 offers a compelling value proposition for Malaysian drivers looking to embrace sustainable mobility. Starting at RM105,800 for the Prime variant and RM119,800 for the Premium, the EV boasts a suite of premium features, including a spacious cabin, 33 smart storage compartments, and a long wheelbase that ensures passenger comfort.

According to a recent PRO-NET customer survey, top reasons for choosing the e.MAS 7 include its exceptional value, spacious interior, and cutting-edge technology. Beyond comfort, safety remains a cornerstone of the vehicle’s design. The e.MAS 7 features the advanced AEGIS Short Blade Battery, which has passed rigorous testing—known as the ‘Six Extremes’—proving its resilience to heat, corrosion, and physical impact. The battery also delivers an accurate WLTP range, confirmed through a live test using the Prime variant.

To support the growing EV community, Proton has built a comprehensive charging infrastructure. e.MAS 7 owners now have access to over 2,300 public charging points across Malaysia, operated by major CPOs such as Gentari, JomCharge, and chargEV. Additionally, 75 fast DC charging stations (up to 120kW) are available at select Proton and smart dealerships, providing enhanced convenience for long-distance travel.

The Proton e.MAS App complements this ecosystem, offering a unified view of all available charging locations via a Live Integrated Charging Map. With features like real-time navigation, integrated payment, and continuous updates, the app has facilitated 1,145 charging sessions in just three months, highlighting its growing adoption.

“We aim to provide more than just a vehicle—we’re building a complete EV ownership experience,” Zhang emphasized. “Our network includes 36 dealerships with DC chargers and after-sales support, while our partnerships with CPOs ensure that infrastructure evolves with our customers’ needs.”

The e.MAS 7’s momentum isn’t just local—it’s going global. Following its debut in Nepal, the electric SUV is set to launch in Trinidad and Tobago and is currently on an ASEAN-wide road trip to showcase its capabilities across diverse terrains and climates.

As Proton continues to scale its EV vision, the e.MAS 7 stands as a symbol of progress—combining practicality, innovation, and sustainability in one powerful package.
