JETOUR Malaysia Unveils All-New Dashing SUV

JETOUR Malaysia has officially stepped into the spotlight of Malaysia’s competitive automotive scene with the grand unveiling of its first SUV, the All-New JETOUR Dashing, during a high-profile launch at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC). The Dashing is not just a new vehicle — it’s a statement of intent, boldly positioning JETOUR as a serious contender in the local SUV market.

At 4,590 mm long, 1,900 mm wide, and 1,685 mm high, the 5-seater JETOUR Dashing stands out with a bold 3D coupe fastback design that blurs the line between sporty saloon and rugged SUV. Its aerodynamic profile is complemented by intelligent features like invisible sensing door handles that automatically extend when the smart key is near — a futuristic touch that also enhances efficiency.

A standout design element is the Dashing’s lighting system. With split matrix LED headlights that activate 100 metres before tunnel entrances, adjustable in four levels, and ‘Mecha-Eyes’ inspired daytime running lights, visibility is not just functional — it’s stylish. At the rear, checkered flag-themed taillights reinforce the vehicle’s sporty personality.

Inside, the Dashing offers a refined, high-tech space. Two interior themes — off-white or black with red — exude minimalist elegance, while the flat rear floor enhances comfort for all five occupants. The generous boot fits everything from camping gear to weekend BBQ essentials, underlining its appeal to active lifestyles.

Technology abounds, from voice-activated commands for windows, climate control, and navigation, to wireless charging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, and a 75-inch panoramic sunroof that brings the outside world in — without sacrificing comfort or privacy.

JETOUR hasn’t compromised on safety. The Dashing comes with a robust suite of features including blind spot detection, lane change warnings, rear cross traffic alert, and a door open alert system that enhances passenger safety in busy environments. All these are powered by millimetre wave radar systems, proving that smart safety is a priority.

Powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine delivering 156 PS and 230 Nm of torque, the Dashing promises both responsive urban driving and strong highway cruising performance. Available in Comfort and Prime trims, priced at RM109,800 and RM116,800 respectively, the SUV strikes a compelling balance between performance and affordability.

The Malaysian launch also celebrates a broader strategic alliance between JETOUR Malaysia and Berjaya Assembly Sdn Bhd. In a key ceremony, Mr. Ke Chuandeng and Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Vincent Tan officiated the agreement to collaborate on CKD (Completely Knocked Down) production, embedding INDUSTRY 4.0 technologies such as AI and robotics into local manufacturing.

This move not only demonstrates JETOUR’s confidence in Malaysia’s potential as a regional automotive hub but also signals increased local investment and job creation in line with national development goals.

JETOUR is rapidly building a solid foundation nationwide, with 15 showrooms and service centres already operational and a total of 30 more 3S and 4S centres planned for 2025. Locations include major urban and regional hubs such as Selangor, Penang, Johor, Sabah, and Sarawak, ensuring accessibility for customers across the country.

Available in five eye-catching exterior colours — Carbon Black, Khaki White, Aurora Green, Phantom Grey, and Hematite Red — the Dashing caters to a range of style preferences, complemented by dual-tone interior options accented with red stitching for added flair.
