The Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Malaysia 2025 promises to be an unforgettable experience, featuring three intense qualifying knock-out rounds that will determine the fastest sim racers in the nation. As the competition builds to a crescendo, the grand finale will take place on June 8, 2025, during the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia (PCCA) weekend at the iconic Sepang International Circuit.
Designed for racing enthusiasts and gaming talents alike, this challenge provides a platform for passionate drivers to demonstrate their skills in the fast-paced world of online simulation racing. Registration is open from March 20 to April 16, with online and in-person entries available at Porsche Centres nationwide from April 12 to April 20. What sets the 2025 edition apart is a tantalizing new prize: podium finishers during the final championship on race day at PCCA will have the chance to drive an actual Porsche on the track. For winners under 18, the experience can be shared with a parent or guardian.
Porsche Malaysia has thoughtfully crafted three distinct age categories to encourage participation from all walks of life:
- Junior Dreamers (10 – 14 years old)
- Young Dreamers (15 – 17 years old)
- Driven Dreamers (18 – 25 years old)
The action unfolds on the RaceRoom Racing Experience platform via Steam, showcasing circuits from the prestigious Porsche Carrera Cup Asia (PCCA) tour. Qualifying kicks off with a 10-minute time-trial session where participants set their fastest laps remotely or at any Porsche Centre nationwide.
Advancing to Round 2, successful racers will battle it out physically at selected Porsche Centres:
- Porsche Centre Ara Damansara: April 26 – 27
- Porsche Centre Johor Bahru: May 3 – 4
- Porsche Centre Penang: May 10 – 11
- Porsche Centre Sungai Besi: May 17 – 18
During these sessions, participants receive personal coaching followed by 10 minutes of practice on a pre-set virtual track. Only the top 10 from each category at each location will progress to the final qualifying round at Bangsar Shopping Centre from May 25 – 26, 2025.
The competition culminates on June 8, 2025, with a high-intensity sprint race at the Sepang International Circuit, held in conjunction with the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia leg.
