A dazzling display of creativity, imagination, and artistic brilliance took center stage as UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) honored the talented young winners of the 18th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest (DCAC) 2025. With the theme “Your Dream Car,” the competition was more than just an artistic challenge—it was a platform to inspire the next generation to envision a better future.

The event not only celebrated the artistic talents of these young visionaries but also acknowledged the vital role played by their families and educators in nurturing their creativity. UMWT continues to support and encourage young minds, reaffirming its dedication to fostering innovation and artistic expression.

At its core, the Toyota DCAC champions the transformative power of creativity. Toyota’s philosophy of “Producing Happiness for All” is reflected in its commitment to building a society where dreams thrive and creativity fuels progress. The contest provides children with the opportunity to showcase their aspirations and imaginative concepts for the future through their dream car designs.

“At UMW Toyota, we believe in nurturing creativity and imagination in our future generations. The Dream Car Art Contest allows children to share their unique perspectives on mobility and the world they envision. It is truly inspiring to witness their passion and see how they shape their dreams through art. This contest aligns with our mission—not only to build great cars but also to contribute to a society where dreams take flight,” said Datuk Ravindran K., President of UMW Toyota Motor.

This year’s contest saw an overwhelming response across Malaysia, with an astounding 3,243 artworks submitted. A new initiative by UMWT, in collaboration with the State Education Department, has successfully encouraged greater participation from government schools, broadening the reach of this creative endeavor.

Among the schools recognized for their outstanding contributions were Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seksyen 5 Wangsa Maju and Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina) Kepong 1, both of which received special awards for their exceptional submissions. Their dedication to nurturing young artistic talent is truly commendable.
