Tesla has officially launched its latest V4 Supercharging station at The Gardens Mall in Kuala Lumpur, featuring four V4 Superchargers and one Destination Charger. This new facility is designed to cater to the needs of local communities, particularly residents of high-rise condominiums who require fast and convenient charging while shopping or running errands at the mall.

The V4 Superchargers come with a longer cable, ensuring compatibility and ease of access for all Tesla vehicles. Supporting peak charging speeds of up to 250kW per vehicle, the V4 can add approximately 282km of range in just 15 minutes for Model 3 and Model Y. Additionally, these chargers are future-ready, allowing for software updates and new features over time.

Tesla remains committed to enhancing the ownership experience by offering a seamless and efficient charging process. The “plug and charge” feature simplifies the experience, with the Tesla App enabling users to check charger availability, navigate to stations, and monitor charging progress. Payments for Supercharging are automatically processed via the Tesla App, eliminating hassle and ensuring a smooth, uninterrupted travel experience.

With a pay-per-use rate of RM 1.13/kWh, Tesla’s Supercharging network remains one of the most cost-effective charging solutions available. Currently, Tesla operates 14 Supercharging stations with a total of 64 Superchargers and 15 Destination Charging stations with 70 chargers across Malaysia. The company is dedicated to expanding its charging infrastructure to provide broader coverage nationwide.

Meanwhile, the newly launched Tesla Model Y, starting from RM 195,450, is now available in Malaysia. Customers can view the vehicle at Pavilion Damansara Heights until 2 March 2025 and at the Tesla Experience Centre in Cyberjaya from 23 February onwards. The Model Y can be ordered online through Tesla’s official website. Additionally, the Model 3, starting from RM 181,000, is available for test drives and purchase at all Tesla locations.
