Proton’s electric vehicle subsidiary, PRO-NET, has reached a significant milestone by launching Proton e.MAS dealerships in Sabah and Sarawak, bringing advanced electric mobility solutions to East Malaysia.
The first milestone was achieved in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, on February 8, with the official opening of Harapan Maju Sabah Sdn. Bhd.’s Proton e.MAS showroom, officiated by YB Datuk Phoong Jin Tze, Minister of Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship. In Sarawak, the momentum continued with the opening of a dealership by Melinau EV Sdn. Bhd., launched by Ybhg. Dato Wee Hong Seng, Mayor of Kuching South, on February 11. Additional expansions are planned, with Ghee Hua Co. Sdn. Bhd. inaugurating its showroom on February 13 in Sarawak and Fook Loi Eurocar Sdn. Bhd. following suit in Sabah on February 28.
