Kegani Racing Academy has unveiled thrilling plans for its third season of the SKILLDRVN One Make Race Series and announced the launch of the all-new SKILLDRVN SWIFT SUPERCUP PRO-SERIES, set to debut in 2026.
The SKILLDRVN One Make Race Series returns for its third season with five action-packed rounds scheduled as part of the Malaysia Speed Festival (MSF) at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit. Designed to foster emerging talent, the series features identical Suzuki Swift race cars with minimal modifications, ensuring a level playing field.
Equipped with a production 1.6-liter engine and a 5-speed manual transmission, the cars also feature a 12-point roll cage, FIA-approved racing seats and harnesses, series-spec suspension, and race-ready components like steel braided brake lines and alloy wheels. Drivers can either purchase the car outright or opt for the Academy’s convenient arrive-and-drive rental program.
Since its debut in 2023, the SKILLDRVN One Make Race Series has established itself as a grassroots platform offering classroom and track training to help aspiring racers accelerate their learning curves while keeping costs manageable.
“The one-make format helps aspiring racers focus on skill development while making motorsports more accessible,” said Kenny Lee, Team Principal and Chief Coach of Kegani Racing Academy. “Heading into Season 3, we’re seeing a surge of interest from new talent, which is really exciting for the future of Malaysian motorsports.”
The 2024 season concluded with lady driver Loke Yin Yi crowned as the overall champion, earning RM8,500 worth of products and racing incentives. Notably, 15-year-old rookie Kirill Syrapushchynski emerged as a rising star, finishing runner-up in his debut season after transitioning from karting.
Looking ahead, Kegani Racing Academy is set to introduce the SKILLDRVN SWIFT SUPERCUP PRO-SERIES in 2026. This professional-level competition will feature 10 teams, each selecting one driver from the talent pool of the SKILLDRVN One Make Race Series.
Drivers selected for the Pro-Series will receive race contracts covering all expenses, while teams will showcase full car liveries for branding and sponsorship opportunities. Two teams, BENDIX ULTIMATE RACING TEAM and Team PROFIMAX MAX UP, have already confirmed their participation.
“The Pro-Series offers a pathway for talented drivers to advance into professional racing with full team support, providing them with the resources and exposure needed to excel,” Lee explained.
Kegani Racing Academy’s initiatives are supported by a lineup of partners, including Bendix, Total Energies, Profimax, Advanti Racing, Giti, KJ Brake, ZX1, Ultra Racing, and Lifestyle Motorsports. These partnerships play a critical role in lowering entry barriers while ensuring participants have access to high-quality equipment and safety measures.
“The contribution of our partners is vital to creating a sustainable and accessible platform for new racing talent,” said Lee.
