Zeekr is thrilled to announce that its compact luxury SUV, the Zeekr X, has been honored with Euro NCAP’s coveted Best in Class Award for Small SUVs and Pure Electric Vehicles. This accolade underscores the Zeekr X’s reputation as the safest and most advanced vehicle evaluated by Euro NCAP in 2024.
The Best in Class award is based on a comprehensive evaluation across four key safety categories. The Zeekr X excelled with the following scores:
- Adult Occupant Protection: 91%
- Child Occupant Protection: 90%
- Vulnerable Road User Protection: 84%
- Safety Assist: 83%
Built on the cutting-edge Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform for pure EVs, the Zeekr X sets a benchmark in safety. Its innovative 720-degree all-around safety body structure incorporates advanced engineering, including a threshold anti-collision beam with a three-layer “8-tube” energy absorption system. This design enables the vehicle to endure side impacts of up to 65 tons (636 kN), ensuring global 5-star safety standards.
The Zeekr X also shines in advanced safety features, particularly its Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system, which rapidly detects and responds to vehicles and vulnerable road users.
