Volvo Car Malaysia has announced that bookings are now open for the locally assembled (CKD) Volvo EX30. Following the overwhelming success of the fully imported (CBU) units launched in September 2024, the EX30 underscores Volvo’s dedication to delivering vehicles that are personal, sustainable, and safe.
Available as Model Year 2025 (MY25) vehicles, the EX30 comes in two variants: Ultra and Ultra Twin Performance. Prices start at RM208,888 and RM228,888, respectively. Customers can select from three elegant color options: Cloud Blue, Vapour Grey, and Crystal White. The first batch of deliveries is expected to begin in the second week of January 2025.
Designed to enhance every journey, the EX30 integrates cutting-edge features such as Google Built-in for intuitive controls, enhanced Pilot Assist for semi-autonomous driving, 360° environmental monitoring via advanced sensors, and Park Pilot Assist for automatic parking. Audiophiles will appreciate the Harman Kardon soundbar system, delivering premium audio quality.
The two EX30 variants cater to diverse driving preferences. The Ultra features a single motor generating 272 PS and 343 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in 5.3 seconds. The Ultra Twin Performance variant, equipped with dual motors, offers an exhilarating 428 PS and 543 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. Both variants are powered by a 69 kWh NMC battery, providing up to 476 km (WLTP) range for the single motor and 450 km for the twin motor. Rapid 175 kW DC fast charging ensures a 10-80% recharge in just 28 minutes.
To ensure a hassle-free ownership experience, Volvo provides comprehensive after-sales support through its Volvo Car Service Plan (VSP). This includes essential maintenance such as cabin air filter replacement, brake fluid checks, wiper blade replacement, and software updates for up to five years or 100,000 km. Wear-and-tear items like brake pads and discs are also covered. Additionally, customers benefit from a 5-year 24/7 roadside assistance program, offering towing services to the nearest authorized Volvo service center. 
The EX30 is protected by a 5-year/unlimited-mileage vehicle warranty and an 8-year/160,000 km high-voltage battery warranty. The battery warranty ensures performance, with free repairs or replacements if the battery capacity drops below 70% during the warranty period.
