The 2024 Kia EV9 has achieved dual honors at the Star Carsifu Editors’ Choice Awards 2024, being named Electric Car of the Year and Best Electric Luxury 3-Row Vehicle. The prestigious event was held at the elegant M Resort Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, celebrating exceptional achievements in automotive innovation, design, and green technology.
The awards ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including Transport Ministry secretary-general Datuk Jana Santhiran Muniayan, Transport Ministry Land Division undersecretary Datuk Mohamed Irwan Mansor, Malaysian Automotive Association president Mohd Shamsor Mohd Zain, Malaysian Advertisers Association president Claudian Navin Stanislaus, and Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute deputy CEO Nizmar Mohd Nazar.

Launched in Malaysia in May 2024, the Kia EV9 is available starting at RM 368,888 for the seven-seater configuration and RM 373,888 for the six-seater version.
