UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd (UMWT) maintained its impressive momentum, achieving nearly 8,400 unit sales in November 2024. This accomplishment brings the year-to-date (YTD) total to approximately 89,500 units. The Toyota Vios, Hilux, and Yaris stood out as top contributors, underscoring Toyota’s enduring appeal in Malaysia. These models continue to attract consumers with their blend of efficiency, reliability, and advanced safety features, exemplifying Toyota’s Multi-Pathway approach to meeting diverse customer needs.
In addition to its sales achievements, UMW Toyota Motor hosted the annual Toyota Skill Contest 2024 on 16-17 November at its Shah Alam headquarters. Since its inception in 1993, this event has celebrated excellence in sales and service. With the theme “Customer Delight Through Quality Sales and Services,” this year’s contest reinforced Toyota’s commitment to nurturing talent and enhancing customer trust and loyalty. By recognizing and rewarding exceptional skills, the event highlighted Toyota’s dedication to continuous improvement and outstanding customer experiences.
The two-day competition also showcased Toyota’s initiatives, such as the Toyota Technical Education Program (T-TEP), while promoting the company’s commitment to carbon neutrality through its multi-pathway strategy. Winners across 10 categories were awarded cash prizes exceeding RM100,000, further motivating participants to excel.
Looking ahead, UMWT has launched the “Discover Joyful Exclusives” campaign for December 2024, offering attractive promotions across various Toyota models.
