Sime Motors recently announced the grand opening of East Malaysia’s first BYD 3S Centre in Kota Kinabalu. Operated by Regas EV Sabah, this milestone represents a significant step in bringing BYD’s innovative electric mobility and low-carbon solutions to Sabah, reinforcing the brand’s rapid growth across Malaysia and commitment to superior customer service in East Malaysia’s expanding electric vehicle (EV) market.

Strategically situated in Kota Kinabalu’s bustling hub, the cutting-edge facility spans 1,288 square meters and offers a comprehensive range of services, including sales consultations, vehicle test drives, and aftersales support. Regas EV Sabah has designed the centre to provide BYD customers with a seamless and tailored experience, ensuring they are supported at every stage of their EV journey.

One of the centre’s highlights is its advanced charging infrastructure. It is among Sabah’s first EV outlets to feature two DC Super Charger units with four charging guns, delivering up to 180kW of power for fast and efficient charging.
