UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) proudly announces the 18th edition of the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest (DCAC), a platform designed to inspire children across Malaysia to dream big and envision vehicles that can create a better future. From eco-friendly innovations to designs promoting unity or groundbreaking new technologies, the contest invites young participants to channel their imaginations and creativity.
A global initiative by Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC), the DCAC aims to nurture creative thinking in children while envisioning the future of mobility. It also provides an opportunity for Toyota distributors worldwide to strengthen ties with their communities and customers.
“The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest is more than just a competition. It’s an invitation for children to explore their creativity and imagine how mobility can contribute to a brighter tomorrow. At UMW Toyota, we are excited to reignite this program and continue inspiring young minds to think innovatively. This contest underscores our commitment to fostering imagination, innovation, and connection with the next generation,” said Datuk Ravindran K., President of UMW Toyota Motor.
The DCAC has consistently served as a platform for aspiring innovators to showcase their vision for the future while reinforcing UMW Toyota Motor’s dedication to education, community engagement, and social responsibility.
This year’s theme, “Your Dream Car,” invites children from three age groups to participate:
- Group 1: 7 years old and under
- Group 2: 8 to 11 years old
- Group 3: 12 to 15 years old
Each category will recognize three top winners (Gold, Silver, and Bronze), alongside two consolation prize winners. The top nine entries from Malaysia (three from each age group) will advance to the global World Contest in Japan, where winners will be announced in August 2025. Last year’s competition drew an impressive 710,000 entries from 90 countries, showcasing the contest’s global appeal.
This edition welcomes both hand-drawn and digital artwork, allowing participants to express their creativity through various techniques and formats. Submissions can be on A3 paper or provided as high-resolution digital files in JPG or PNG format.
Entries are open until 31st January 2025. For complete details, including submission guidelines and terms, visit https://www.toyota.com.my/en/discover-toyota/toyota-dream-car-art-contest.html.
