Red Bull Malaysia recently hosted an exclusive appreciation dinner to honor the incredible achievements of the 31 Racing Team, Maju Motor Racing Team, and CKJ Racing Team. The event brought together team members and distinguished guests from Safe Aim Mutual Sdn Bhd to mark the conclusion of the PETRONAS MAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship 2024.
The evening also served as the platform for Red Bull to announce its continued sponsorship of the three teams for the 2025 season, underscoring its commitment to fostering grassroots motorsport talent and celebrating the spirit of motorcycle racing in Malaysia.
Adelene Tay, Head of Marketing at TCP Red Bull Malaysia, emphasized the deeper purpose behind the partnership, stating, “Red Bull’s collaboration with these teams extends beyond sponsorship. It’s about empowering riders and their dedicated crew who work tirelessly behind the scenes. Together, we aim to elevate Malaysian motorsport talent to global recognition.”
In a gesture of gratitude, Red Bull presented commemorative plaques to the team owners—Mr. Che Ku Jonaidi, Mr. K. Sivanesan, and Mr. Yong Yin Hoe. The celebration also highlighted the contributions of the back-end crews, including mechanics and support staff, whose dedication ensures seamless race-day operations and contributes to the teams’ success.
Adding excitement to the season finale, Red Bull concluded its recent social media contest with the awarding of exclusive prizes. Fans who participated by purchasing two cans of Red Bull Malaysia Energy Drink stood a chance to win unique rewards, including the grand prize: a limited-edition Yamaha Y15ZR motorcycle and helmet, both emblazoned with Red Bull’s iconic logo and signed by riders from the three teams.
As the 2024 season comes to a close, Red Bull reaffirms its mission to power the ambitions of local racing talent. “At Red Bull, we go beyond energizing individuals. These racing teams exemplify the spirit of pushing limits and achieving greatness both on and off the track. We are proud to support their journey into 2025 and beyond,” Tay concluded.
