DHL Supply Chain has been selected by Stellantis, one of the largest automotive manufacturers worldwide, as its logistics partner for managing a new regional parts distribution center in Malaysia. This collaboration aligns with Stellantis’ strategy to strengthen its presence in the Asia Pacific region and position Malaysia as a key player in the automotive sector.
The state-of-the-art, 18,000-square-meter facility is strategically located within a Malaysian Free Trade Zone. It is designed to streamline the distribution of automotive parts and deliver seamless aftersales support to 20 countries across the India and Asia Pacific region, including Malaysia. By reducing lead times and improving parts availability, the hub will support Stellantis’ diverse portfolio of brands, such as Peugeot, Citroën, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, and RAM.
Olivier Torchet, Stellantis’ Head of Parts & Services for India and Asia Pacific, emphasized the importance of the partnership: “Stellantis is proud to welcome DHL as our logistics partner. This collaboration will help us set new benchmarks in service excellence, enhance our footprint across the region, and further establish Malaysia as a pivotal automotive hub.”
