UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd (UMWT) has reported impressive sales figures for September 2024, with approximately 7,700 units sold. This brings the company’s year-to-date (YTD) total to over 72,000 units, highlighting its sustained growth in Malaysia’s automotive market. The company’s robust lineup of reliable and innovative vehicles continues to solidify its presence as a market leader.
Key models like the Toyota Vios, Hilux, and Corolla Cross accounted for 69% of total sales, underscoring consumer confidence in Toyota’s reputation for quality, durability, and performance. These best-sellers cater to the varied needs of Malaysian drivers, whether for city commuting or more adventurous driving experiences.

In October 2024, UMWT launched its “Move in Harmony” promotion, offering attractive deals for potential buyers. UMWT is also gearing up to participate in the upcoming Paultan ACE 2024 event, a premier automotive sales expo to be held at the Setia City Convention Centre on 26th and 27th October. Expected to draw around 12,000 visitors, this event will feature year-end promotions and exclusive offers from various car brands. Toyota will present a wide range of vehicles, along with test drives and special promotions available only during the event.
