Porsche has reintroduced the iconic 911 GT3, a high-performance sports car that showcases an enhanced lightweight design, refined aerodynamics, and powerful engineering. The new 911 GT3 celebrates Porsche’s racing heritage with a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated engine that delivers 375 kW (510 PS) and 450 Nm of torque. Designed to excel both on the road and track, the GT3 also features a new Weissach package that offers additional customization options for motorsport enthusiasts.
Both the front and rear designs have been sharpened for improved aerodynamics, with a re-contoured front diffuser and spoiler lip optimizing airflow and increasing downforce. Matrix LED headlights, with an optional white accent ring, provide a sleek, modern appearance while enhancing functionality. At the rear, the redesigned diffuser and rear wing further enhance the car’s sporty profile.
The 911 GT3 adopts double-wishbone front suspension with aerodynamically shaped trailing arms, improving brake cooling and stability at high speeds. These refinements, borrowed from the GT3 RS, ensure precise handling and performance even under extreme conditions. Standard 20-inch front and 21-inch rear tires provide improved wet grip, with optional track tires available for road use.
For the first time, Porsche offers the Touring package at launch. This variant emphasizes a more understated design, replacing the fixed rear wing with a retractable spoiler for a cleaner silhouette. The interior offers luxury with leather finishes and a sporty ambiance, while the optional rear seat system adds practicality for everyday use. The Touring package is ideal for drivers who enjoy winding country roads, with improved steering and a shorter gear ratio for enhanced driving pleasure.
Weight reduction is a central focus of the new GT3. A lightweight aluminum wheel design reduces unsprung mass by over 1.5 kg, while magnesium wheels—available with the Weissach or Leichtbau packages—shed an additional 9 kg. A new lithium-ion battery further lightens the vehicle by approximately 4 kg, contributing to a total weight of just 1,420 kg in its lightest configuration.
The 4.0-liter flat-six engine meets stricter emission standards while delivering the thrilling sound Porsche is known for. With a 0-100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds (PDK) and a top speed of 311 km/h, the new GT3 ensures exhilarating performance on and off the track. Both the 7-speed PDK and 6-speed manual gearbox offer a shorter final drive ratio for enhanced acceleration.
For those focused on track performance, Porsche offers several options. The Clubsport package adds a roll cage, 6-point harness, and fire extinguisher at no additional cost, while the Weissach package features CFRP components and lightweight magnesium wheels. The new lightweight sports bucket seats, crafted from carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), offer improved ergonomics for helmeted drivers and are available with a folding function for easy rear-seat access in Touring models.
Inside the cabin, the GT3 features a minimalist yet functional cockpit with digital displays and a central tachometer. The “Track Screen” mode reduces unnecessary information, allowing drivers to focus on essential metrics like tire pressure and oil temperature. Porsche also offers custom options for the 911 GT3 chronograph, a watch that mirrors the design and performance of the car itself.
The new 911 GT3 represents the pinnacle of Porsche’s engineering, offering an exhilarating driving experience that can be tailored to each driver’s preferences, whether for the track or the road.
