DMM Sales Sdn. Bhd. (DMMS), a subsidiary of the Daihatsu Malaysia Group and Malaysia’s largest Perodua dealership, marked a significant milestone today with the groundbreaking of the Perodua DMM Sales 3S Centre in Pasir Mas, Kelantan. This will be the company’s 18th nationwide outlet and its first Sales, Service, and Spare Parts (3S) Centre in the East Coast region, further solidifying its commitment to expanding its presence and service offerings across Malaysia.

The new facility, situated within the East Coast Economic Region (ECER) Pasir Mas Halal Hub, will cover 84,506 square feet. With an investment of RM6.4 million, the centre is expected to be completed by August 2025. The development underscores DMMS’s goal of enhancing customer access to Perodua vehicles, aftersales services, and genuine spare parts, all under one roof.

The ceremony, attended by notable dignitaries, was officiated by key industry leaders, including Ybhg. Datuk JH Rozman Bin Jaafar, Chief Operating Officer of Perodua Sales Sdn. Bhd., and Mr. Arman Mahadi, Managing Director of Daihatsu (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. In his address, Mr. Arman emphasized the importance of this expansion in meeting the needs of the Kelantan community. “We are proud to be part of this growing community of approximately 230,000 residents and look forward to serving our customers here,” he stated.

Beyond automotive services, the new 3S Centre will contribute to local job creation, skill enhancement, and socio-economic development in Pasir Mas and the surrounding areas. Datuk JH Rozman added, “Perodua’s vision is not just to be the market leader but the brand that Malaysians trust and rely on. This new 3S Centre is part of our long-term strategy to bring Perodua closer to the people.”

The project also received praise from Mr. Megat Shah Rizal Bin Noor Ikhsan, General Manager of the East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC) Kelantan Regional Office. He emphasized how the new Perodua facility aligns with the government’s efforts to promote sustainable economic growth in the region. This development is expected to inspire local entrepreneurs to explore new business ventures within the ECER Pasir Mas Halal Hub.

Currently, DMMS operates 17 sales outlets, 13 service centres, and 2 body and paint centres across Malaysia. The addition of the Pasir Mas 3S Centre will enhance their ability to provide seamless service to customers in the East Coast.
