Car enthusiasts attending the Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur 2024 have a chance to win an incredible grand prize: an unregistered, tuned Honda Civic FK8R Type R Mugen. The event, running from 8-10 November 2024 at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC), offers this stunning car through a lucky draw, organized in collaboration between Element X Strategies, the Sole Official Licensee of the event, and The House of Type R.
This unregistered 2019 Honda Civic FK8R Type R Mugen packs a punch with a two-litre VTEC turbocharged engine, delivering an impressive 318 brake horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The car also boasts several modifications, including:
- Mugen bodykit
- Mugen gear knob
- Mugen rear lamp
- 20-inch TE37 Rays sports rims
- Aftermarket exhaust system
To qualify for the draw, attendees must purchase a ticket to the Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur and add an additional RM28 to participate. The lucky draw will take place on 10 November 2024 at 8:00 pm. If the winner is not present, they will be contacted by phone. After three unsuccessful attempts, the organizers reserve the right to select another winner. The chosen individual must answer three simple questions to claim the car.
The cost of registering the car, which includes insurance, road tax, and other necessary fees, will be covered by the winner.

- RM60 for a single-day pass
- RM120 for a 3-day pass
- RM30 per day for children aged 6 to 12, RM60 for a 3-day pass
- Free admission for children below 6 years old
- 50% discount for persons with disabilities (including one caregiver)
Express Lane tickets, priced at RM80 per day, are also available to help attendees beat the queues. VIP passes are priced at RM150 per day, offering complimentary access to the VIP lounge.
