BMW Group Malaysia recently introduced the new generation of its iconic BMW 5 Series during the SKY5PACE event, held against the stunning backdrop of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline. This exclusive event not only marked the debut of the latest 5 Series but also celebrated the brand’s continued advancements in automotive technology, performance, and its rich heritage in the premium sedan segment.
The SKY5PACE event showcased BMW’s diverse powertrain offerings, underscoring the brand’s commitment to technological innovation and adaptability. In addition to the new BMW 5 Series, models such as the BMW i7 xDrive60 M Sport and the BMW 750e xDrive M Sport were also featured, highlighting BMW’s drive to meet the evolving demands of modern consumers through a range of powertrain options.
Central to the showcase was the locally assembled BMW 520i M Sport, symbolizing BMW Group Malaysia’s confidence in the nation’s economic growth and local manufacturing capabilities. At the SKY5PACE event, the BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport was presented with a range of customizable M Performance Parts, including a front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, rear spoiler, and exterior mirror caps. These were complemented by striking 21-inch M Performance light alloy wheels in Cross-spoke style 943 M Bicolor (Jet Black, gloss-milled), offering customers the opportunity to personalize their vehicles to match their unique preferences. 
Owners of the BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport will enjoy added peace of mind with an 8-year or 160,000 km battery warranty, whichever comes first, ensuring long-term confidence in the vehicle’s electric performance.
Retail prices for the new models are as follows (on the road, without insurance): the BMW 520i M Sport is priced at RM349,800, with an optional BMW Service & Repair Inclusive package available for an additional RM26,900. Meanwhile, the BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport is priced at RM399,800, with the optional BMW Service & Repair Inclusive package offered at RM20,300.
