On Friday, August 16, during the renowned “The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering” event in California, Maserati will unveil its latest creation to the world.

Born from Maserati’s track experience and designed for those who demand extraordinary performance on the road, this new car promises innovative technological solutions and impressive aerodynamic capabilities, characteristic of the fastest and most exhilarating racing cars.

The super sports car will be showcased at one of the year’s most anticipated motorsports gatherings, Monterey Car Week, taking place in California from August 14 to 19. This prestigious event attracts enthusiasts from around the globe, featuring breathtaking models, exclusive previews, and auctions.

Designed, developed, and produced entirely in Italy, this powerful car inherits the racing spirit of the Maserati GT2 while evolving from the MC20, the Trident’s flagship model equipped with the distinctive V6 Nettuno engine. The MC20 project epitomizes Maserati’s performance ethos, with its technical development envisioning both a track version and a road counterpart, developed in close synergy by a dedicated team sharing technological know-how and specific components.

This highly anticipated new addition to the Maserati range will be a highlight of the electrifying American show, offering glamour, style, refined elegance, and an impressive array of classic and modern cars that captivate crowds and enchant discerning collectors.

Enthusiasts will encounter a one-of-a-kind car with an unmistakable aesthetic, featuring a wide range of customization options, and blending racing car details with the comfort and hallmarks of road models. This super sports car, destined to be on the wish list of those attracted by the most extreme models, is designed to make drivers feel like true racers, even off the track.

The world premiere of this new Maserati will take place on Friday, August 16 at 9:12 am PST, introduced by Giovanni Perosino, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, and Klaus Busse, Head of Design. The exclusive setting of The Quail will also host the MC20 Icona and MCXtrema.

The MC20 Icona, a special limited edition series inspired by the 2004 MC12 Stradale, was unveiled in June 2024 and will make its North American debut. The MCXtrema, revealed at The Quail in 2023, is the most formidable Maserati racing car, approved for track use only. With only 62 units produced, the first will be delivered at the Laguna Seca circuit during Monterey Car Week 2024.
