Bermaz Xpeng Sdn Bhd, the exclusive distributor of XPENG in Malaysia, proudly announces the official launch of its first model in the country, the XPENG G6 Ultra Smart Coupe SUV. This innovative electric vehicle (EV) is now available for booking, with prices starting at RM 165,000.00.
The XPENG G6 Smart Coupe SUV, which made its debut at the Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition in April 2023, represents the fifth model introduced by XPENG Inc. This mid-size crossover SUV is built on the cutting-edge Smart Electric Platform Architecture 2.0 (SEPA 2.0), featuring an 800-volt architecture designed to provide comfort and ample space. The G6 is the first production model constructed on this advanced platform.
SEPA 2.0 serves as XPENG’s latest integrated technology architecture, laying the groundwork for future production models. It offers enhanced architectural solutions that allow XPENG to meet diverse consumer needs while optimizing research and development efficiency and cost. SEPA 2.0 will enable XPENG to continue refining the mobility experience by delivering exceptional value, comfort, and rich infotainment.
The G6’s dynamic design features a low center of gravity for improved driving control, with a body structure that combines steel and lightweight aluminum for enhanced safety at a reduced weight. 
Powered by a high-voltage Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) 66 kWh battery pack, the G6 580 Pro variant offers a range of up to 435 kilometers, producing 255 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque, with a top speed of 200 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds. The 755 Pro variant, equipped with an 87.5 kWh Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) battery, provides a range of up to 570 kilometers, delivering 282 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque, with a top speed of 200 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds. 
The G6’s energy efficiency and charging capabilities are bolstered by an 800-volt high-voltage silicon carbide (SiC) platform, supporting superfast DC charging. The 580 Pro variant can achieve a maximum DC charging capacity of 215 kW, while the 755 Pro variant can reach 280 kW. Both variants can charge from 10% to 80% in just 20 minutes using DC rapid charging. 
Safety is paramount in the G6, which comes equipped with XPILOT 2.5, a comprehensive driver assistance system. Standard safety features include seven airbags and an electronic child lock, while advanced safety features comprise high-definition millimeter-wave radar, ultrasonic radar, and a 360˚ HD camera powered by the Nvidia Orin-X chipset. This system provides drivers with a panoramic view of their surroundings via the instrument cluster. 
The G6’s advanced safety features include Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop & Go, Lane Centering Control (LCC), Active Lane Change (ALC), Enhanced Auto Parking Assist (EAP 2.0), and more. The XPENG mobile application enhances the driving experience with features such as remote vehicle status checks, tire pressure monitoring, air conditioning control, and auto-parking capabilities. 
Designed with the younger generation in mind, the G6 boasts a striking exterior that combines sleek, aerodynamic lines with tech-fluid aesthetics. The short front and rear overhangs and low center of gravity enhance handling and stability, while the suspended roof design ensures ample interior space and comfort. 
Inside, the G6 reflects XPENG’s “Circle of Life” design philosophy, offering a spacious and comfortable cabin. The ergonomically designed seats feature eco-friendly materials, ventilation, heating, and multiple power adjustments with position memory. Rear passengers also enjoy heated seats, and the cabin is equipped with dual wireless charging pads, automatic dual-zone air conditioning, and the XFreeBreath air purification system. 
The G6 is powered by the upgraded Xmart OS 5.0, offering a Smart Cockpit experience driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8155P chipset. The 14.96-inch central control system and 10.2-inch digital dashboard provide intuitive interaction, while the Intelligent Voice Assistant, with its interactive avatar and voice profile, ensures seamless communication between driver and vehicle. The system also includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and an 18-speaker XOpera surround audio system for an immersive in-car experience. 
The XPENG G6 Ultra Smart Coupe SUV is available in five colors: Midnight Black, Silver Frost, Arctic White, Graphite Gray, and Fiery Orange. The interior features leatherette seating in Black and Grey options.
The G6 starts at RM 165,000.00 for the 580 Pro variant and RM 185,000.00 for the 755 Pro variant. It comes with a 5-year manufacturer warranty (or 120,000 km, whichever comes first) and an 8-year high-voltage battery pack warranty (or 160,000 km, whichever comes first).
