BMW Group Malaysia proudly announces the return of the BMW Shorties 2024, the renowned initiative for digital content creation. Now in its 18th year, the competition introduces the theme “PULSE,” challenging local creators to innovate storytelling and pursue their passions in creative mediums.

This year’s distinguished judging panel includes five award-winning professionals: Saw Teong Hin (Puteri Gunung Ledang, You Mean The World To Me), Nadiah Hamzah (Motif), Jeany Amir (Bu, Kasih Suci), Tunku Mona Riza (Redha, Rain Town), and Ghazi Alqudcy (Temporary Visa, Letters from the Ends of the World).

Jeany Amir expressed her excitement, saying, “It is a privilege to return to the judging panel this year and share new insights gained since my last run. ‘PULSE’ is a resonant theme, pushing our local talent to revisit their core passions and translate them into their creations. I am confident that this year will showcase even more captivating and profound narratives.”

Ghazi Alqudcy added, “Returning as a judge for BMW Shorties is a true honour. My past experience left me speechless at the remarkable creativity and passion of our young Malaysian filmmakers.
