BFGoodrich recently hosted an exclusive preview of the highly anticipated BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 at Sirromet, a working vineyard and event venue in Brisbane, Australia. The location, known for its challenging trails and scenic views, provided an ideal backdrop for the event held from July 7 to 17, 2024.

Over 200 dealers, media representatives, and industry influencers from eight countries across East Asia and Australia—Australia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam—attended the event. They were among the first in the region to experience the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3’s exceptional 3T (Toughness, Traction, and Treadwear) performance ahead of its official launch in September.

Nearly a decade after its predecessor, the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 incorporates the latest tire technologies, enhancing performance in three key areas:

  • Toughness: Featuring CoreGard Technology and Advanced Deflection Design for improved sidewall durability.
  • Traction: Updated serrated shoulder design and mud-phobic bars for better traction in muddy conditions.
  • Treadwear: A new tread compound for greater durability and longevity on gravel roads, and optimized interlocking tread elements for even wear over time, living up to its tagline, “Legendary Toughness. Made Tougher.”

The event showcased an Exhibition Zone and three Workshop Stations. The Exhibition Zone highlighted the rich history and legacy of the BFGoodrich brand, which spans over 150 years. In addition to the flagship BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3, the exhibition featured other off-road products such as the BFGoodrich HD Terrain for the toughest jobs, the BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 for extreme traction and toughness, and the BFGoodrich Trail-Terrain T/A for both on-road performance and light off-road situations.

Participants had the opportunity to experience the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 in various conditions through three Driving Workshops:

  • Toughness Built to Overcome: Allowed participants to test drive on a challenging off-road track featuring shale hills, water ruts, rock gardens, and slippery slopes.
  • Traction & Treadwear: A performance lab showcasing the tire’s durability and performance in dirt braking, mud acceleration, and accelerated treadwear.
  • All-Terrain On-Road & Off-Road: Provided on-road driving to experience reduced noise, excellent steering, and handling, as well as soft off-road driving to tackle water crossings and rough terrain.

The BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3, designed for CUVs, SUVs, and pickups, was fitted to high-performance vehicles such as the Toyota Hilux, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Ford Everest, Ford Ranger Raptor, and Mazda BT50 during these workshops.

The BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires will be available for purchase in Malaysia starting October.
